Whether shooting with a gun or bow, there are some principles that apply to both!

1.  Focus on a very small spot. In fact aim at the smallest portion of the target you can see. There’s truth to the saying “aim small, miss small.”

2. Follow through!  See the target after you shoot!  If shooting a bow, see the target until the arrow strikes the target.

3.  Remember that perfect practice makes perfect. When practicing, make sure you use good techniques during each shot!  Practicing with bad techniques simply reinforces bad habits.

4.  Remember that shooting is mostly mental!  So practice the techniques without firing a shot!
