Dr. Grant, I had this plant come up in my turnip plot. Looks like you have grown some beautiful deer on The Proving Grounds! Thank you, Andrew (Michigan) 
I have never seen it before. There is only one of them in the whole plot. It has a stalk like broccoli and a seed head similar to broccoli. The leaves are about eight inches across. Do you know what it is? Any thoughts would be appreciated!

I don’t know for sure what the plant is. However, given that there is only one, that it looks like a brassica, and is among turnips in a food plot, I strongly suspect it is a forage brassica and the seed happened to be mixed with the seed you purchased. If you are concerned, simply pull it before it can go to seed.
