What climbing safety system do you use?

Dear Grant,

Can you tell us what type of Safety System (Tree strap) you use when you get into your stand, in order to anchor yourself to the tree?

When I watch the videos it looks like some type of rope system that is wrapped around the tree, which you clip into via your safety harness karabiner.

I use a full harness from Summit (http://www.summitstands.com/harnesses) and always use a climbing system like the http://www.summitstands.com/seat-o-the-pants-climbing-system.

These systems allow me to remain tethered to the tree from when I leave the ground till I return.  Adam does a good job of explaining this system in the GrowingDeer episode at this link:   https://www.growingdeer.tv/#/deer-hunting-focusing-on-the-kill-zone.

I don’t allow any of the GrowingDeer Team to climb a tree without using this safety system.
